8th of the Month: “THE DEPENDABLE”

The Home Performance Role of the DEPENDABLE is at the heart of my LifePrintOS.

My Home Performance Pattern defines the main color palette of my personality and is the energy that others will “see” first.

This would be the personality and performance pattern that is expressed when at home or with people I know intimately.

The Practical Dependable at Home

All of my emotions and behavior patterns at home are fueled by my highest driving need for Security and Contribution.

Should I misperceive insecurity financially or within my relationships, I could be prone to falling into a Protective Mindset Pattern. It is useful to generate my own safety net financially or forge a path where I don’t leave myself dependent on job security.

Once I perceive security, I devote more time exploring ways in which I wish to contribute to this world.

At home, people experience me as perhaps a bold and lively individual whose personality fills the doorway. I am the rock. Patient, supportive, and responsible, and can be relied upon by others when I prefer, if I am being valued, and I am self-resourced internally first.

At times, these traits may contribute to influencing me to be a little obsessive as I power my way through any obstacle or challenge I am faced with, working methodically and effectively until my goal is accomplished.

I am rarely idle and enjoy filling my time with a variety of hobbies and pastimes. I have a very subtle sense of humor and if people are not paying direct attention they may find themselves the unwitting subject of a friendly joke.

I will not actively seek out recognition yet secretly love to hear that I am efficient, capable, and valued. The Dependable likes stability, often preferring the structure of a career or business environment contributing to a perception of security and the promise of steady, graduated progress.

If employed (which is rare to find a conscious business) I most likely could be unerringly loyal to the employer, often reaching top positions due to my worldly experience and diligent work ethic.

My solid, even-tempered wisdom renders it normal for others to lean on me, both as a sounding board, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to get empathy with.

When in a Protective Mindset spiral, I need to conscientiously guard against becoming stubborn and immovable, acknowledging that for some people I may seem a little too overbearing.

I can make great sacrifices in the name of Outrageous Love and have a deep respect for Nature. I am most at home in the wild places where the pulses of an ancient rhythm may be more easily felt.

It will be important for me to develop the courage to begin my own projects and ideas instead of finishing everyone else's. To ensure you remain in a proactive, thriving state, I develop a strong resilience for a misperception of rejection as allowing the mind to subscribe to that would be a form of self-sabotage.
